How do I request a password for a new user?

Please contact your Program Manager or Underwriter. More information is contained on the Meadowbrook Online Overview (Section 8a)

When is the deposit premium due and where is it sent?

For direct bill policies, the deposit premium is to be received and posted by the Company at the appropriate P.O. Box address on or before the policy effective date. The mailing address for the deposit payment is printed on the Direct Bill invoice.

What happens if my insured gives me the deposit premium or an installment payment?

If you take receipt of any premiums, you are to promptly forward the payment, without deducting your commission, to the appropriate P.O. Box listed below:

If my insured pays their annual premium in full, are they charged a $5 service fee?

No, the service fee only applies to insured’s who choose to pay their annual premium with an approved Direct Bill Payment Plan.

If an account is referred to my Underwriter, how long does it typically take to determine if coverage can be bound?

Each submission is unique. The amount of time will be based on the complexity of the account and what additional information the Underwriter may request to better understand the account.

Do I receive a copy of all correspondence that the carrier sends to my Insured?

Yes, the Agent receives an e-mail notification of all correspondence (policies, endorsements, invoices, etc…) that we send to the Insured. All correspondence is also available to be viewed by you online via Meadowbrook Online.

When are the Direct Bill invoices sent to the Insured?

All Direct Bill invoices are mailed to the Insured 30 days prior to their due date.
